St Tydfil’s Church, Merthyr Tydfil
St Tydfil’s stands on the site where St Tydfil was martyred for her Christian belief, around 480 AD.
It is thought that some form of church has been here for over 1,500 years!
The church is at the bottom end of the High Street, and is popular for weddings and funerals.
As well as regular Sunday services, it hosts seasonal fayres, “Bake Off” competions, and an annual Blessing of Animals Service.
See the readings for next Sunday.
The newsheet and readings will be updated on the Monday or Tuesday before. Please check the dates on the top of each file.
